HOW DID
WE GET HERE?

TRASH DAY is a Santa Cruz–bred, Los Angeles–based indie/alt-rock band blending surf and punk influences with high-energy performances. Formed at UC Santa Cruz, the band emerged as part of the post-COVID revival of the Santa Cruz DIY scene, helping bring house shows and local bills back to life before relocating to LA after graduation.

Sonically, TRASH DAY draws inspiration from The Strokes, The Backseat Lovers, and FIDLAR—delivering loud, hook-driven indie rock built for the room. With over 400,000 total Spotify streams, the band has proven their ability to support and energize bills, sharing stages with acts like Alexsucks, Carpool Tunnel, Slow Hollows, and The Paranoyds. TRASH DAY is currently rolling out new music with their single "Brighter," supported by a high-volume content campaign and an accompanying music video. Just remember….it's all garbage.
